It was party time at the Christmas shed social meeting on 22nd December with our friends the Ayrshire Ukulele Clan playing a selection of festive tunes, with members signing along and some even dancing.
Members were able to sample a range of mince pies in a blind taste test, and last years winner from M&S, as well as pies from Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, Mr Kipling, Sainsbury’s and Tesco were beaten by a clear winner – mince pies made by Ian Tosh, Troon Men’s Shed Chair. Congratulations Ian!
Thanks to Alison, who runs Crystal-Eyes in Portland Street, the members were presented with a car themed mug as a gift, and we are very grateful to Alison for her generous donation.
