At our meeting on 23 February 2026 we were pleased to welcome Marie Oliver and Fiona Craig from Voluntary Action South Ayrshire (VASA) to tell us about planning for the future in case you are no longer able to make decisions, and also for after your death.
- Power of Attorney – enabling someone to make decisions on your behalf if you become unable to do so, and to support you to manage your finances.
- All About Me – recording relevant information about your life (personal details, key contacts, financial information, possessions, computers & social media, location of documents) to reduce pressure on those dealing with financial matters on your behalf, and after your passing.
- My Final Wishes – let others know your wishes with regards to planning your funeral.
Attendees received an information pack with booklets to enable wishes and information to be recorded, and an information booklet about Power of Attorney.
