We were pleased to host a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) event on 28 May 2026 which was run by South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership. The event provided an introduction to some of the TEC devices available and how they can help users in their daily lives.
A wide range of devices were demonstrated including:

| fitness bands | smart watches | tracking tags |
| pendant alarms | falls detectors | community alarms |
| medication dispensers | water dispensing kettles | toothpaste dispensers |
| sock pullers | water level alarms | home safety sensors |
As an example a smart speaker can make daily contact with family easier, provide reminders about when to take medication, play music and reduce loneliness.
