At our meeting on 9th December we were joined by George Mulveny from Troon Community Council to tell us about the important work that they do for the town, which includes organising a number of long-running annual events including the Glasgow Taxi Outing, Troon Gala Day, Odd Object Competion, and Wintertainment.
George also presented us with a donation from the Community Council which is greatly appreciated and will help us continue to hold social meetings whilst we pursue our own premises.
Troon Men’s Shed look forward to supporting future events which the Community Council organise.
