We were pleased to welcome Marc Birch, Digital Support Officer from Connect South Ayrshire to our meeting on 29th June where he told us about the free services that he can provide to help people with using digital devices and services including:
- Using your smartphone or tablet
- Setting up and using email
- Using the internet
- Ordering prescriptions online
- Connecting with family and friends
- Shopping and browsing safely
- General IT tips and guidance
Marc was able to provide some 1-2-1 assistance to members at the meeting to help them with digital devices, and we will arrange for him to attend another meeting in the future.
He also attends regular drop-in sessions at Troon Library as well at the Connect Ayrshire Hubs in Ayr and Prestwick.
