Our first “Show & Tell” session provided an enjoyable and entertaining afternoon at Troon Men’s Shed, with members bringing along a fascinating variety of items to share with the group.
From DIY projects to musical instruments, models, unusual collectables and tools, all with an interesting history, every item had its own story. It was a great opportunity for members to explain about what they brought along and to answer the many questions that followed.
As always, the meeting generated plenty of conversation, laughter, and memories, with everyone learning something new about both the objects and the people who brought them along. These informal gatherings are a great reminder that our members have a wealth of experience, skills, and interests that are always worth sharing.
A big thank you to everyone who took part and made the meeting such a success. We look forward to seeing what surprises appear at the next Show & Tell!
Our next meeting is a ‘Brew & Blether’ on 3 August from 2pm till 3.30pm at the Lighthouse Christian Centre. If you are interested in finding out more about Troon Men’s Shed then come along or join up using this link.
