Our meeting on 13th April is a talk by Andrew Turney about swifts and electronic swift callers.
Andrew will speak about swift conservation as sadly their numbers have declined drastically due to the loss of nesting sites. He has been working with Sanquhar & District Men’s Shed who are building swift nest boxes and innovative electronic swift callers to help reverse the dramatic decline of these extraordinary birds.
Tea and coffee will be available and non-members are welcome to come along.
