Last September fourteen members of Troon Men’s Shed enjoyed a visit to UPM Caledonian Paper Mill at Irvine and learned that the employee’s contribute to a charity fund each month which is matched by the company.
Troon Men’s Shed were delighted that they had been picked by the employees as recipients of the charity fund for January and have now received a donation of £1,000.
This money will help us with obtaining premises for our Men’s Shed to enable members to attend and carry out projects and socialise.
Once again a massive thanks to the employee’s and management at UPM Caledonian at Irvine.
